'Pokemon Go' Fails to Take Canada by Storm; Server Down On Its Launching Day

'Pokemon Go' Server Down During the Weekend

After the United States enjoyed a fair share of the Pokemon Go craze, the game meant to take Canada by storm, only to get halted by a bug that marred the highly anticipated arrival of the game.

On Saturday, the Pokemon Go server went down; just when it started launching in Canada. Since then, the game has been spotty despite Niantic saying that the glitch has already been fixed.

The "Pokemon Go" server down has caused a lot of disappointment to fans and to those patiently waited for the servers to get fixed, they remained apprehensive that somehow, the game will be in its utmost worst. Niantic on the other hand has ruled out launching the game internationally until such time they can fix the servers and confident that it will not be the cause of Pokemon Go's next interruption.

According to Forbes, the Canadian and European release of "Pokemon Go" remains spotty and fans still receive spotty receptions every now and then. Meanwhile, hacking group OurMine has taken full responsibility of the "Pokemon Go" server down and explained that they literally put down the server in order to bring it back and give the players a better "Pokemon Go" experience.

That put the pokemon game to its worst hacking experience yet as over the weekend PoodleCorp and OurMine subsequently claimed putting down the servers of the "Pokemon Go" game. OurMine on the other hand gave a stern warning to the developer of the game, reminding them to concentrate on the security of the game at the same time, stressing out how they easily hacked the game.
