'Fallout 4' Update 1.6 Arrives on the Console Platforms Today

Bethesda has recently announced the arrival of the "Fallout 4" update 1.6 for the PS4 and Xbox One console.

Take note that this new update has been rolled out to the PC platform during the early part of July. The said update is for the enhancement of the new "Fallout 4" mods and in  the case of the PC platform, the "Fallout 4" update 1.6 allows players to save their games as soon as they leave the game.

The "Fallout 4" update 1.6 has been expected as early as June for the consoles, but for some unfortunate reasons, Bethesda announced that it will be delayed till the end of July. First off, the "Fallout 4" update 1.5.4 is supposed to unlock the beta version of the mods on the PS4 platform, unfortunately, that didn't happen.

In the official announcement of Bethesda, they apologized that they weren't ready and will give updates on a later date. Some glitches found on the "fallout 4" update 1.5.4 include memory performance, incompatible sound files and the limited memory space of the mod.

But now, according to Gamespot, with the new "Fallout 4" update 1.6 some of the key, new feature and fixes include:

  • The ExitSave, this feature however is only available on the PC platform. It allows players to save their games in all levels including the Survival mode.

  • The Workshop mode has a new add-on icons

  • At least 300 players were included on the vocabulary of Codsworth

  • Upcoming add-ons will have their own support.

As for the minor fixes on the game, it includes fixing the crash incident while a player targets an enemy weapon in VATS and fixes on the bug that disallows the player's companion to walkthroughs and remains stuck during the process.
