‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Release Date, News & Update: Sequel Possibly Debuting at Gamescom 2016

It has been some time since Rockstar has updated the “Red Dead Redemption” series and a sequel is something many have been speculating for some time but nothing has come close. Gamers hopes to see the sequel from Take-Two at E3 but again, nothing transpired.

“Red Dead Redemption 2” happening at Gamescom 2016

Could something be up at Gamescom 2016 next month? Rumors of a possible “Red Dead Redemption 2” has been in the air for quite some time now but something could be up in Cologne, Germany. It is a good as time as ever to see some new gun-slinging adventures for games if Game Debate’s call materializes.

The rumored working title will be “Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West” and the site further notes Take-Two’s presence at the event. The group is better known as the owner of Rockstar Games so the claim is highly possible.

Possibilities not limited to “Red Dead Redemption 2”

It should be noted that “Red Dead Redemption” is not the sole game title that Take-Two has under its wing. There are other notable ones such as “Civilization VI”, “Mafia 3” and “Bioshock” to their credit and that anticipated game announcement could also cover potential sequels from those.

If not, a new game could be out in the open though its ties with Rockstar has strongly led many to believe that it will be the much talked about western action-adventure open world game.

With nothing credible to work on at the moment, the best thing to do is hope for the best. “Red Dead Redemption” is still around and is in fact playable on the Xbox One by way of the backwards compatibility program. As previously reported, the game has been performing better on the latest Xbox game console.

Gamescom 2016 happens in Germany from Aug. 17 to 21, 2016, an event that should offer a ton of new games to check out.
