‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Season 4 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: More Inhumans Appearing On Show?

“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” Season 4 is expected to come out with more surprises though some of that has already been set.

By now, most are aware that Life Model Decoys (LMD) and “Ghost Rider” will be joining the “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” cast but there could be more on the horizon.

‘Inhumans’ film cancellation the cause?

“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” has so far focused on ‘Inhumans’ in the past two season and the practice is likely to continue. But the question now is who else will pop up aside from “Daisy/Skye” (Chloe Bennett) and the rest?

“Robbie Reyes” aka “Ghost Rider” (Gabriel Luna) has been confirmed as mentioned in a previous post but more could result from the temporary shelving of the “Inhumans” movie. The fate of “Inhumans” is still up in the air, with the grapevine claiming it may be shown at a later date or entirely shelved. Taking into consideration the latter, “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” could become an alternative gateway to bring the ‘Inhumans’ clan to viewers.

Showrunners Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen look at the ‘temporary’ removal of the “Inhumans” movie from the MCU schedule in a positive way. In fact, they believe that it gives them more freedom as far as casting more ‘Inhuman’s’ to Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

“We do have a little more freedom. We’ve told a couple of seasons of stories but now we do have some more freedom. So when we return to focusing on Inhumans, we’ll be able to do a little bit more,” Whedon and Tancharoen said via iO9 during SDCC 2016.

Doors not totally closed for “Inhuman” movie

With more ‘Inhumans’ expected to appear, it will be interesting who appears. There are a lot of classic characters such as “Black Bolt”, “Medusa” or “Crystal” who could appear on “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”, Screen Rant reported.

As for the film, Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios is not closing the doors. He expects “Inhumans” to be part of the MCU moving forward though there is no definite timeline for now.

“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 4 kicks off on Sept. 20, on ABC. Stay tuned for more spoilers, news and updates!
