'Clash of Clans' News & Updates: September Update Coming Soon? [VIDEO]

Good news, "Clash of Clans" fans. The game's developer Supercell is finally planning to put out a new major update for the game next month, and it looks like a major overhaul is in store. Specifically, huge balance-related changes, fixes, and nerfs for the popular mobile game are being planned.

The announcement was made by a Supercell staffer over at the "Clash of Clans" official forum. According to the gist of the announcement, which didn't go into a lot of specifics, the update that's coming in September is not simply going to power up and nerf certain elements of the game, like they did with updates in previous years. What seems to be in store are specific unit balances all across the board. Check out this video of the "Clash of Clans" changes being planned so far:

According to the "Clash of Clans" developer, they're going into a really meticulous mindset in balancing all of the units in the game. Supercell is avoiding making units too strong or too weak, just for the sake of making much-needed changes that "Clash of Clans" players are clamoring for.

What's also in store for the big "Clash of Clans" update are boosts to the defense mechanic. In fact, they may be doing this by introducing a new type of defense that affects big groups of midrange units.

Supercell hasn't announced an exact date for this big "Clash of Clans" update next month, but players can definitely expect it to come soon, and it should also affect players who are still on levels 1 to 10. It's reasonable to assume that it'll be dropping on players before September ends--all you have to do is stay tuned. We'll give you more updates as soon as we get more information.
