'Scream Queens' Season 2 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Meet The New Stars Coming This Season! Chanels Working For Munsch?

With new settings and different environment, "Scream Queens" Season 2 promises to be scarier and funnier with the coming of additional characters. In fact, Fox recently revealed the cast members' teaser photos to give a glimpse of the recurring and incoming stars.

New Stars In 'Scream Queens' Season 2

The snaps of Jerry O'Connell are now emerging online as he joins "Scream Queens" Season 2, but his exact role has yet to be disclosed. However, the 42-year-old star is seen sporting what seems like a green cape while holding a syringe as he sports a mischievous face. According to TVLine, the "Crossing Jordan" actor's character has a link with the show's new theme - the hospital.

Aside from Jerry O'Connell, "Scream Queens" Season 2 also has a new "Scream King." John Stamos, too, joins the cast as Dr. Brook Holt, along with Taylor Lautner as Dr. Cassidy and James Earl as Candy Striper. Of course, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd, Keke Palmer and Lea Michele will all be back to scare and bring laughter to fans.

'The Last Glimmer Of Glamour' In 'Scream Queens' Season 2

Entertainment Weekly reported that Fox first released the appearance of the masked face of "Hannibal Hester" and the hospital suits made by Chanel in "Scream Queens" Season 2. The second installment of the comedy horror television series will be now set in the hospital headed by Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis).

"Scream Queens" Season 2 will begin three years after the events of the Season 1 finale. The bloody gang will still face a number of deaths that Cathy Munsch will buy for some unrevealed reasons. "There's a bit of a grey area there as for why the Chanel's go to work for Munsch," the series writer Ian Brennan said to EW.

"The Chanels have fallen from glamor and glory and are now having to work for Dr. Dean Munsch," Emma Roberts explained. The 25-year-old actress added that she is looking forward to the whole cast of "Scream Queens" Season 2 to cling to the "last glimmer of glamor" they have in the hospital. "Scream Queens" Season 2 will be back on Sept. 20 on Fox.
