Finally, after a few months of calm, Tesla Model 3 news on its features have started coming in again. As per a new report, 'Supercharger Credits' may be making its way to reservation holders. This is definitely the first time news about Supercharger access has surfaced. This great news considering Supercharger access related to Tesla Model 3.

In June, Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that Tesla Model 3 Supercharger access wouldn't be free for owners of its mass market sedan. However, Musk added that Supercharging would still be cheap, much cheaper than gasoline.

The Tesla Model 3 "Supercharger Credits" reveal does not really require some HTML know-how. Visiting the "My Tesla" page, available only to existing Tesla owners and reservation holders, Telsa Model 3 depositors will notice a new section called "Payment Method." They would also be able to spot a "ADD CREDIT CARD" button.

According to Teslarati, viewing this section's HTML through one's browser reveals a section of code referencing Tesla Model 3 "Supercharger Credits," which is commented-out. Commented code is a placeholder that developers put in for what is to come and cannot be presented. This proves that "Supercharger Credits" is definitely making its way.

Experts believe that future Tesla Model 3 owners may be given the option to purchase the amount of energy that can be drawn from its Supercharger network. Even though previous reports stated that Tesla was planning to offer Supercharging only as an optional package to Tesla Model 3 buyers, this reveal provides amazing insights into Tesla's plans to adopt a pay-per-use payment plan to lessen Supercharger congestion.

Currently, the Tesla Model 3 price starts at $35,000 before incentives. With a single charge, the car can run 215 miles. It has the auto-pilot software and can seat up to five adults. The company is already accepting reservations for $1,000 and deliveries are expected to begin late 2017.
