Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime Specs, Latest News & Updates: Everything You Need To Know About The Latest Device

Xiaomi has just launched its newest device last August 2016, the Redmi 3S Prime. The Redmi 3S Prime together with the Xiaomi 3S are the new generation of the Redmi series that came after Redmi 2 which is considered as one of the best phones with its price.

Design

Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime can be considered as Redmi Note 3 twin.  It has a scratch resistant glass with a chrome finished coating and a full metal back. A fingerprint sensor is also found at the upper part of the phone.

Display

According to Gadgets 360, the Redmi 3S Prime has a 5.0-inch 1280 x 720 IPS LCD with a Sunlight Display mode available which adjusts the screen contrast depending on the light and image on the phone screen. This mode is very great for those users who are always going out under the sun.

Camera

A 13-megapixel main camera and a 5 megapixel front camera are said to be available in the Redmi 3S Prime with a face detection autofocus and a 1080p video quality. It also has loads of filters in taking photos and a time-lapse video feature.

Software

The new Xioami Redmi 3S Prime is running in an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 7. The MIUI feature is considered as one of the most feature-packed Android coatings with its recently released MIUI 8 with more additional features. However, upgrading the Redmi 3S Prime to the latest Android Nougat are not yet being planned as of the moment according to Xiaomi Advices

Performance

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime will sport a 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB of internal storage. It also runs with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. There is a greater improvement compared to the previous Redmi 2 with its Snapdragon 410.

The fingerprint sensor scanner of the Redmi 3S Prime is very impressive as it works perfectly fine with wet fingers. Its sound quality for speakers tends to go flat at the maximum volume but it still works impressively too.

Battery Life

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime has a 4100mAh non-removable battery with a tuned chipset for efficiency which could provide a longer battery life. According to iTech Post, the new phone can stay up to ten hours with its screen on and a two days max of standby time which is very suitable for people who will use it for calling, checking mails and send messages primarily.
