With the official announcement of Netflix for "Stranger Things" Season 2's renewal, viewers are asking who or what is coming back in the 1980's thriller. Although the show is expected to air in 2017, we have updates and spoiler news to sustain you until then.
"Stranger Things" Season 2 will have nine thrilling episodes, with the story happening a year later during the fall season of 1984. According to Screen Rant, the following are the title episodes for the next season: "Madmax," The Boy Who Came Back To Life,"The Pumpkin Patch," "The Palace," "The Storm," "The Pollywog," "The Secret Cabin," "The Brain," and "The Lost Brother."
Some characters are expected to return in "Stranger Things" Season 2, but Eleven, portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown, is still "up in the air," according to Ross Duffer, one of the show's creators, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Viewers may get to see Dustin, Joyce and Mike, portrayed by Gaten Matarazzo, Winona Ryder and Finn Wolfhard, respectively, coming back and four new characters. The newly released trailer revealed that one of the title episodes is "The Lost Brother." Perhaps this is one of the new characters?
In "Stranger Things" Season 2, Hawkins, Indiana will not be the only setting where the adventure takes place. Matt Duffer, one of the show's creators, said that they will "venture outside a little bit" of the fictional small town.
