‘Pokemon Go’ Gen 2 Latest News & Update: Niantic Adding Poke Finder Soon

“Pokemon Go” is far from perfect and Niantic continues to find ways to improve on that. Tracking has been the most popular feature that many are still far from satisfied but the list goes on.

A lot of features should be added when “Pokemon Go” Gen 2 rolls out. Most have probably heard of the Buddy and Trading system reportedly has planned, two features that should be interesting. Much of that was detailed in a previous post.

However, the work ahead for Niantic may be more than that for “Pokemon Go”. Aside from stabilizing the game, one directive is to try and lure back the number of active players which have started to drop as reported in July by Bloomberg.

“Pokemon Sun and Moon” has been whipping up a storm as it prepares for its big release this November. Mentioned were the pocket monsters expected to appear in the game but apparently, there are more to those critters to make the game pretty interesting.

Finding the Poke Finder

One feature that “Pokemon Sun And Moon” will reportedly have to offer is the Poke Finder. The feature works when players take a picture of a pocket monster are snapped that would be eventually used to determine just how good they are.

The snapped shot can eventually be uploaded and shared where players can rate the photograph. Alternatively, ratings from Pokemon gym leaders could be useful. If the photo gets high ratings, they can even look forward to rewards such as Pokemon Candies or other items.

Right now, Niantic may want to consider adding the same feature or at least something close to it to make “Pokemon Go” more interesting. Adding such could help out the “Pokemon Go” players not entirely adept at the game, not to mention aid them in determining which critters to unleash and who not to when the battle time comes.
