The PlayStation 4 Pro was unveiled early in September 2016, promising better visuals with 4K resolution and higher frame rates. Potential PS4 Pro owners are already excited about the game titles that will be playable. The PS4 Pro can run games at 4K or 1080p resolution and higher frame rates with enhanced visual effects. Some of the games that are already available will offer PS4 Pro support via updates.

Newer titles will already have built-in graphic support. A number of titles that will run on either 4K or 1080p when the PS4 Pro comes out have already been revealed. According to GameSpot, "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" will arrive with a 1080p display and super sampling anti-aliasing. "Paragon" will also run at 1080p on the PS4 Pro, with enhanced visual effects, dynamic reflections, procedural ground cover, higher scene complexity and greater texture fidelity.

"The Witness" will run at either 4K or 1080p, with a solid 60 FPS. The menus, other UI and text will also be fixed at native 4K. At 1080p, the game will feature increased antialiasing quality from 2x to 4x MSAA. Several more PS4 Pro games are on the way, although the details have yet to be presented. Included in the list are "Battlefield 1," "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Remastered," "Days Gone"  and "Deus: Ex: Mankind Divided." Also on the list are "Dishonored 2," "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," "Farpoint," "FIFA 17," "Final Fantasy XV," "For Honor" and "Ghost Recon: Wildlands."

Other upcoming PS4 Pro titles include "Horizon: Zero Dawn," "Infamous: First Light," "Killing Floor 2" and "The Last of Us: Remastered." This is the same with "Mass Effect: Andromeda," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Spider-Man," "Steep," "Titanfall 2," "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" and "Watch Dogs 2." In another GameSpot report, the PS4 Pro will still be part of the current console mode, although made to cater to higher-end players. Some of the improved specs include the boosted CPU clockspeed, 1TB hard drive and twice as much GPU power. The PS4 Pro will launch on Nov. 10, 2016 at a retail price of $399.
