Dead or Alive 5's Patch 1.03 Allows for Fight Uploads to YouTube and Facebook

Finally some additions are coming to Dead or Alive 5 that aren't costume packs.

Team Ninja revealed that DOA 5's patch 1.03 will let players record their matches, and then savor in their opponent's sweet humiliation by uploading the videos to the internet.

PlayStation 3 players get the better end of the deal with this new mode, as Sony gamers can upload the videos to both Facebook and YouTube. Xbox 360 players only get to upload their videos to Facebook.

Team Ninja shared a video of Rig taking on Zack via Tecmo's YouTube page to show off the new feature, which you can check out below.

According to the Koei Tecmo YouTube page, the patch is still in the works and will be released soon. Siliconera reports that the patch will include other tweaks, but Team Ninja has yet to provide a complete list of patch fixes.

Set two years after the destruction of the TriTower, headquarters and symbol of DOATEC, Dead or Alive 5 sees Helena Douglas beginning the task of rebuilding DOATEC, this time with the aim of using its technology for peaceful ends. She has ordered the dissolution of the Biotechnology Division, the indefinite suspension of the Military Division's Projects Alpha, Epsilon and Omega, and the expulsion of all members of the Donovan faction from DOATEC's offices around the world.

Now in the same position once held by her father, DOATEC founder Fame Douglas, Helena announces fifth Dead or Alive tournament to show the world the principles and philosophies upholding the new DOATEC.
