'Hawaii Five-0' Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Steve Back In Action! Will Fans See Him More Mature?

In just a couple of days, Steve (Alex O'Loughlin), Danny (Scott Caan) and the rest of the gang will be once again seen in the return of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7. Even though the show's protagonist got badly wounded in the previous installment, he is now back in action in the police procedural drama.

Steve Now Back In Action!

According to the official synopsis of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7, as obtained by the Futon Critic, the first episode would bear a Hawaiian title, "Makaukau 'oe e Pa'ani" or "Ready to Play." Steve will be furious to see the dead bodies of the two serial killers with chess pieces inside their mouths. Danny will then tell him to take things easy as he is still wounded from their last season's undercover mission.

From here, Steve, along with his team, will start to look for the vigilante surrounding their area as the tourists now fear for their lives in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7. It looks like the role of the 40-year-old doesn't mind his accident, although he just undergoes a liver transplant. But it has been said that his return to the battlefield is his way to move on to his near-death experience.

Fans To See Mora Matured Steve? Will

Meanwhile, upon learning Steve's need for a new liver, Danny suggested that he will donate his as they have the same blood type. As the team waited for their surgery to finish, they all celebrated to learn that the operation was a success. With all the things that happened with Danny, showrunner Peter M. Lenkov revealed that he will now question his morality and the choices he makes in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7.

"There is an arc about Danny trying to get McGarrett to slow down a bit and appreciate the fact that he's been given a second chance," Peter M. Lenkov told TVLine. However, it is not only Steve who will start to ponder things but the whole team, too, will now more be matured. As Steve is starting to realize things, Kono (Grace Park) is also starting to think if she's ready to start a family. "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 returns on Sept. 23 on CBS at 9 p.m.
