‘No Man’s Sky’ Latest News & Update: Upcoming Patch May Dictate Space Exploration Game Fate! More Details Here [POLL]

Hello Games is expected to roll out a new update soon, a patch that can hopefully restore order to the faltering fortunes of “No Man’s Sky”. But the question is really more on the percentage it can address and if this would be enough to rekindle player interest.

Player interest for “No Man’s Sky” faltered heavily with less than 2,000 players still into the ambitious space exploration game. Bugs and recurring gameplay were among the cited complaints of gamers and now Hello Games will need to find a way to address both.

Big expectations for upcoming DLC

Hello Games planned “No Man’s Sky” patch will aim to address all major and minor bugs and possibly more. That includes tweaking things a bit by adding more content – something that players have been complaining about.

Supporting the so-called hype

As mentioned in a previous post, one thing that may have done Hello Games in was its poor PR strategy. Word of such comes no less from Sony president Shueda Yoshida who believes Hello Games bit off more than they could chew but all is not entirely lost. Added content and stabilizing gameplay for “No Man’s Sky” is at the top of the list and the belief is that all that will come with the said DLC which could be out this week.

Sean Murray is aware of the problems plaguing “No Man’s Sky”, particularly in the area of content. Per his statements, options to build bases and construct ships are in the works and hopefully doable once the patch is officially rolled out.

If the upcoming patch for “No Man’s Sky” fails to reel in player interest, there is a chance that Hello Games may have dealt its last card. Rather than try to revive a lost cause, would it be best to focus on the development of a new game instead? Join the polls below.
