‘WWE 2K17’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: What You Should Know About Universe Mode

"WWE 2K17" is coming this October and based on the leaks and teasers being released online, 2K Sports gave this latest installment of WWE video game series a complete make-over. This means that, although this is only a follow-up to the WWE 2K16, the features and over-all gameplay is very different from the previous games.

"WWE 2K17" is the 18th part of the series now and it offers interesting features to players. It retained some of the characters from past versions and gaming modes like MyPlayer, MyCareer and Kickstart have stayed as well.

Right now, the most talked about game mode of "WWE 2K17" is the Universe Mode because 2K Games really invested time to make it bigger and better. It's concept is expected to provide improved concepts for superior gaming experience.

What is the Universe Mode?

As Cristo Kyriazis, designer of Universe Mode, wrote on "WWE 2K17" website, "It is an experience based on the WWE shows and events, with WWE Superstars competing against each other in rivalries and for championships, in settings where anything can happen all year round."

Moreover, in this mode, players can easily navigate through the features and details of the game including menu, options and so on. This is because, the link leading to these controls are prominently displayed on the screen.

Why makes Universe Mode distinct?

This "WWE 2K17" game mode offers a wide range of customization support. This set-up allows players to fully manage and control their game by applying their own ideas.

For instance, players are free to form their own WWE and list of superstar wrestlers. Under the Universe Mode, gamers can also select championships and matches to compete on. What's more, players can now have three active Universe save instead of just one.

Forbes listed down seven concepts of the Universe Mode of "WWE 2K17." Players can experience these upgrades starting Oct. 11. This is downloadable to several platforms including PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
