"Man in the High Castle" is based on the novel by Phillip K. Dick that features a dystopian alternative history, in which Japan and Germany won World War II, with the United States under their control. At the Comic Con, Dick's daughter, Isa Hackett, told the audience that fans will soon meet the mysterious titular character, Digital Trends reported. Hackett also revealed that much of the story in "Man in the High Castle" Season 2 won't necessarily stick to the flow of the story found in the book.

Frank will become even more radicalized, the report detailed. After being adamant about not giving up the whereabouts of girlfriend, Juliana, the factory worker might meet his demise soon if his Jewish bloodline gets discovered.

"Man in the High Castle" Season 2 will premiere on Dec. 16 with ten episodes. The new season will also introduce a new character. As confirmed by Deadline, Sebastian Roche will be on board for the sophomore season to play the recurrent role of Joe's estranged father. "The Originals" star's character is described as a "wealthy, high-ranking Nazi official based in Berlin." This could be the reason why Joe will move to the city.
