'Overwatch' Season 2 News & Update: Disconnection Problems, Penalties; Most/Least Played Heroes Here!

"Overwatch" Season 2 players have complained sudden disconnections from the game and penalties afterwards. The game director recently announced his dismay towards gamers who experience these problems but insists that even heavier penalties are in store for the good of all. Blizzard is also expected on developing a new patch following the list of the most and least played heroes in the game.

An "Overwatch" Season 2 player posted in the official forum questioning the disconnect suspension policy of Blizzard. The player noted a ten-minute gameplay suspension due to an unintentional disconnection, which may lead to getting perma-banned for it.

"Overwatch" Season 2 Game Director Jeff Kaplan replied to the complaint expressing his sympathy with the suspended player. However, at this point the "Overwatch" staff have no way of tracking which players get disconnected accidentally and which ones disconnect intentionally. Hence, all disconnections will be treated the same way, Kaplan said.

Meanwhile, for those that are left in the game, problems have occurred as well. It is said that once a player gets disconnected, the team is left with one man short. Primarily, the suspension policy is directed against the rage quitters or those who intentionally leave the match sensing a loss for "Overwatch" Season 2.

This policy also prevents gamers with poor internet connection to join the "Overwatch" Season 2 competitive plays. Those who suffer from unstable internet connection could play in Brawl or against AI characters, Kaplan added. The game director also announced that heavier penalties are going to be imposed soong against players who disconnect from the game regardless if it was unintentional.

In other news, Master Overwatched recently revealed the most and least played heroes in "Overwatch" Season 2". Lucio was crowned the most popular hero. The support hero is followed by Soldier 76, Parah, Mercy and Genji. At this point, two supports have made it into the top five along with three offensive.

The "Overwatch" Season 2 least popular heroes were also revealed and included three supports, Zenyatta, Symmetra and Ana. Blizzard is set on making changes to the game via future updates with plans on buffing the three. "Overwatch" patch notes are expected to be released soon.
