'The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild' Release Date, News & Update: Old Man At Start Of Game Finally Explained

"The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" and the various concepts about it have been continuously spinning around ever since the game was first announced. However, one fan has made a very surprising claim about the Old Man's role as well as the title's timeline placement.

'The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild' Speculations

The speculation can be viewed on HyperBoyGames channel on YouTube. Though the channel itself is still considered pretty new, the given content however is very relevant. It summarizes the five major arguments made by Zelda theorists regarding the reality behind "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild," iDigital Times reported.

'The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild' Concepts

One of the most intriguing concept is the possible identity of the Old Man seen at the start of "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild." As the most part of the Adult Timeline shippers have highlighted, the man's theme seems to be a little faster version of the Hyrule Castle theme. Also, the song was earlier associated to King Daphnes in Wind Waker. However, the source suggests that it could be linked to any form of royalty in the series.

Another interesting perspective is that the Old Man could possibly be included in the Seven Sages as well as Hyrule's leader in the Downfall timeline. Princess Zelda and others who are included in the Seven Maidens in A Link to The Past were unveiled to be descendants of the Sages, Techno Buffalo reported.

The long bird of the Old Man makes him look like a Sage. If you combine the two school of thought, it's a known belief that Zelda from the SNES game could also be a descendant of this Old Man, thus, his appearance and royal lineage explain everything.

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" Link to the Past Manual also notes a cloud of darkness, which is quite the same with the Calamity Ganon descending on Hyrule Palace. In a nutshell, this may be a proof to another thread combining both titles. Watch "Zelda Breath of the Wild" Theory Old Man King of Hyrule video here:
