‘Wolverine 3’ Release Date, News & Update: X-Men Hero Turned Violent; Rated R ‘Logan’ More Disturbing?

"Wolverine 3" show runners has announced recently that the movie's new title will be "Logan" with a Rated R due to violence. In their official Instagram account, the men behind the camera posted a disembodied body part, a hint that the movie will be gory, bloody and disturbing.

A photo of what seemed like an abandoned government facility was also seen. The sign with words in Spanish written on it could tell us that Hugh Jackman's character will be heading down south.

In the past "Wolverine" movies, we saw Logan trying his best to contain his violent nature. Could it be that in "Wolverine 3" he finally succumbed to his beastly instincts? Director James Mangold also posted the second page of the screenplay in his Twitter account. Logan's character, as described in the screenplay, is an older version with diminished abilities. He seemed to be in chronic pain and turns to booze to as his pain killer. Part of the script was an adlib in Spanish which is another clue that a part of the Rated R movie will be filmed in the southern part.

Reports reveal that the nemesis of Logan in "Wolverine 3" could be Mister Sinister. He was the mysterious man who took a blood of the X-Men hero in the "Apocalypse" and put in a briefcase labeled Essex Corp. Rumors say that the Mister Sinister could be portrayed by Richard E. Grant. Could the mad scientist have anything to do with Logan turning more violent in the next sequel?

In addition to Jackman playing the title role "Logan," "Wolverine 3" will also be show casing the talent of Boyd Holbrook, Eriq La Salle, Stephen Merchant and Elizabeth Rodriguez. Patrick Stewart will reprise his role as Professor Charles Xavier. The Rated R movie will hit the silver screen on March 3 next year.
