'Legion' TV Series Will Have Direct Connection To X-Men Universe! Charles Xavier Cameo Confirmed?

"Legion" is set to become more than just a psychological drama about a schizophrenic man. After all, David Haller's comic book storyline reveals him as the son of Charles Xavier who has inherited his father's telepathic powers. But is it possible that Professor X himself will be the direct connection between the FX series and the X-Men Cinematic Universe? Showrunner Noah Hawley admits that it would be impossible not to touch upon the subject without mentioning David's real father.

"There's a wheelchair in the first scene," Dan Stevens shared during the show's panel at the recent New York Comic-Con (via Comic Book Resources). However, the actor did not reveal whether Charles Xavier will actually show up in "Legion". Nevertheless, fans are speculating that Professor X could be an important character in the FX series.
