‘Call of Duty’ Release Date, News & Update: ‘Black Ops 3’ Salvation DLC Is Out; ‘Infinite Warfare’ Beta Schedule

The "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" Salvation DLC recently arrived on Xbox One and PC, one month after it released on PlayStation 4. "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta is also set to launch on Oct. 14, 2016.

Express reported that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" players can now download the new Zombies and multiplayer content. The DLC has a file size of 13.87GB, containing four new maps, and the ending to the Zombies Origin story arc. One of the maps is a remake of the Outlaw map in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2." In the grand Zombies finale, Origins characters Richtofen, Takeo, Dempsey and Nikolai meet the mysterious Doctor Monty in The House. Their grand adventure through time and space led to the huge encounter and they have to battle the zombie horde one more time.

According to GameSpot, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta is also set to launch soon on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There will be no beta on PC, but the full game will be available later on. "Call of Duty" fans who preordered can try the multiplayer from October 14 to September 17 on PlayStation 4. The beta will be available for a second time from October 21 to 24 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Beta players can choose among three of the six Combat Rigs available during launch, namely Warfighter, Merc and Synaptic. All the loadouts will be available, but payloads and traits will be unlocked via progression in the full game. The three playable maps in the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" beta are Frontier, Frost and Throwback. The available multiplayer modes are Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed and Domination.

Activision did not mention the inclusions in the beta. However, it was revealed that the premium editions of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will include a remastered version of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." The campaign and multiplayer will be updated for new systems, although Activision did not yet mention if there is a beta for the "Modern Warfare Remastered" multiplayer. "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will officially arrive on November 4.
