One of the most popular fighters the UFC or the Ultimate Fighting Championship has produced, Ronda Rousey, will be making a comeback fight against the current champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 for the bantamweight title.

Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes has been one of the most anticipated match up fans have been hoping to happen this year. Now that it has finally been confirmed, fight fans will certainly be treated with an action packed battle for five rounds.

The former UFC champion, Ronda Rousey, has been taking a time off from fighting after suffering her first loss at UFC 193 against Holly Holm. It has been reported that apart from the injuries she suffered during that fight, the former Olympian had recently undergone a knee surgery. Prior to Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes announcement, fans were hoping to see Rousey against Holm at UFC 200 card, but that did not happen due to her recent surgery. Holm had since lost the UFC belt to Miesha Tate whom Nunes beat to get the title in her last fight.

Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes is going to be the latter's first title defense and since it was announced by the fighting organization, fight fans could no longer wait for it to happen. Rousey had held the UFC belt for more than three years before losing it in a disappointing passion to Holm. Rousey return is definitely big for UFC as she is the biggest draw of the organization next to Conor McGregor, who is fighting against the lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in Madison Square Garden at UFC 205.

Meanwhile, title contender Chris 'Cyborg' is certainly not happy with the Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes announcement as she was expecting to fight against Rousey later this year. UFC has yet to reveal the full card of UFC 207.
