MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, Latest News & Update: Sales Slide Slow Down Apple Revenue

The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be announced anytime soon, a refresh armed with new features after a long while. With the latest Apple notebook coming, sales on current and old models are now feeling the effects.

As mentioned in a previous post, consumers are torn on whether to get the current MacBooks in the market or hold off until the new MacBook Pro 2016 comes out. Depending on their budget, a wise choice would be to wait and see if the latest Apple refresh is worth the investment which means MacBook sales will be on the downturn until all the laptops are ready for comparison.

This means that Apple will have to hold off for now and experience a slowdown on current MacBooks in the market. Some retailers have resorted to offering reasonable discounts on old MacBook models, something is initially seen to make room for the incoming MacBook Pro 2016. eBay and Best Buy have given good price-offs so it will be interesting if these will help in clearing old stock.

With the current predicament, Apple may be pressured a bit to release the MacBook Pro 2016. The initial word was they would be out by the end of the month though there are other rumors suggesting that it could be released to early November, Mac Rumors reported. More to that, the fact is that many are eager to see what he MacBook Pro 2016 will have to offer and if it is truly something worth investing in.

Most of the rumored specs are already out in the open which include a potential Intel Kaby Lake processor, OLED touch panel, and USB-C port, all holed in a thin aluminum display. There will be two variants coming out, a 13-inch and 15-inch variant of the MacBook Pro 2016. The latter variant is expected to be the high-end model with more features to be revealed once it rolls out.
