‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Release Date, News & Update: Silvadi evolution, special capabilities unveiled

More details about the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game "Pokemon Sun and Moon" have been revealed. A Japanese magazine teased of a Pokemon creature's classification, as well as it unique capabilities when evolved.

In the latest issue of CoroCoro, the Japanese magazine shared some interesting information about the Pokemon named Silvadi, Serebii reported. The said creature is just one of the many characters that players will find in the upcoming 3DS game "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

Silvadi is the evolved form of a Type: Null Pokemon. However, its evolution involves creating a good rapport with a Pokemon trainer. When a player's trainer character gains the trust of the said Pokemon, it will "destroy its helmet" to undergo its Silvadi transformation.

Identified as a regular-type creature, Silvadi has the capability to hold "Memory," a special item in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." The said Pokemon's special capability can allow it to assume other types or classifications.

Silvadi's "AR Ability" will enable it to adopt one of the game's 18 Pokemon types. However, it is still unclear if a gamer will need to collect Pokemon creatures with different types or classification to enable Silvadi's special ability.

Apart from the "AR Ability," Silvadi also boasts of a "Multi Attack" that varies depending on the "Memory" item held. Player's will also be able to distinguish the said creature's current type through the color changes reflected in its mane, tail and eyes.

Meanwhile, the file size for "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will each be at 3.2GB, Siliconera reported. Nintendo 3DS users may need to upgrade their handheld unit's memory cards prior the game's release.

Players would need an SD card or a micro SD card of more than 4GB to download the game. However, the SD card upgrade recommendation will not be applicable to players who plan to purchase hard copies of the upcoming 3DS game.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" is set for release in North America on Nov. 18. Watch the game's latest trailer below:
