Shazam Has Problems: Black Adam Coming to 'Injustice: Gods Among Us'

Batson has some problems comin'...

Longtime Captain Mar...excuse me, "Shazam" villain Black Adam is confirmed to hit the roster for "Injustice: Gods Among Us" as a playable character according to a tweet from the game's official Twitter account.

In DC comics continuity, Black Adam is actually a predecessor to Shazam's Billy Batson, thought to be a worthy successor to the wizard that granted the two their powers, in Black Adam's case, having received his powers in ancient Egypt long ago.

Apart from their moral alignment, the biggest separation between the two is that while Shazam draws his powers from the Greek Gods, Black Adam's powers come from Egyptian deities. He's also well known for genociding the entire population of small countries, and periodically tearing Intergang members in half. Real charmer, that guy.

Versions of the character fluctuate a bit from medium to medium, story arc to story arc, but expect his fighting style not to vary too much from Shazam's, probably just a bit more vicious.
