"Resident Evil 7" has officially made history as soon as it was announced, successfully releasing a demo not long after. That being said, the feats that continued from that point on in form of videos showcased just what Capcom has in mind for the franchise's growth.

Capcom has not held back on their teasers for "Resident Evil 7," showing the latest footage in an array of many more expected to come. Along the way, fans of the franchise may know that they are to deal with not just the new system at hand, but also of the reminiscence to the old games as well. So far, the latest clip entitled "Resident Evil 7" Vol. 4 "Stock Up" highlights some traits of the predecessors by showing the utilization of items.

According to PC Gamer, "Resident Evil 7" gave fans an idea on how they are to go about the game as Capcom chose to bring back some of the elements from the predecessors, namely the gathering of items respectively. In this particular case, the item to pay attention to is the knife, which allegedly aids the players in almost anything.

For over half a minute, the "Resident Evil 7" clip points towards what the title brings back from the old games of the franchise -- but somehow a little different. As it was seen previously, the tape recorder within the demo acts as a saving point for progress, the same way that the typewriter does for the predecessors. Though "Resident Evil 7" takes on a whole new pattern for the time being, Capcom has slowly started to unveil its key points such as the Green Herbs, and of course, the conventional item hoarding, as per previous reports.

For now, players of "Resident Evil 7" are to hang on to the trouble caused by the Baker family, showing how menacing they are to those stepping into their residence. It was beforehand promised that the demo may be different from the actual game, though players can only wait for the more concrete disclosures from Capcom before its due date on January 24, 2017.
