'Pokemon Sun and Moon' Release Date, News & Updates: Pokedex Leaked; Details On Ultra Beasts Revealed

After Nintendo released the demo version of "Pokemon Sun and Moon", 81 new Pokemons were identified. Beginning with the Alolan starters Rowlet, Litten and Popplio to Legendary Pokemons like Solgaleo and Lunala.

However, Nintendo managed to hide some of the new Pokemon from the data field and from the dataminers in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." A report by WWG picked out some interesting new Alolan Pokemon.

First is Pikipek, a common flying Pokemon that has similarities of a woodpecker that evolves into a Toucan. A possible Ultra Beast named Wimpod was also discovered and described as a horseshoe crab which evolves into one of the most scariest looking Pokemon in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon".

Other Pokemon like Crabrawler, Salandit and Morelull evolves into a certain type of Pokemon however Comfey, Passimian and Oranguru do not have any evolution. Tapu Koko is joined by three more Island Diety Pokemon, which interestingly forms a totem pole when combined. This added to the list of animated object Pokemon per generation. A floating anchor-like Pokemon was also discovered in "Pokemon Sun and Moon"

There are eight Ultra Beast Pokemons that have been leaked by the dataminers. A report from Kotaku decribes the Ultra Beast Pokemons does not look like normal Pokemon in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

They are categorized as beasts or aliens. A new enhanced PokeBall was also revealed that is believed to be used to specifically catch Ultra Beast Pokemons which makes "Pokemon Sun and Moon" unique than any other Pokemons games released.

Meanwhile two lovable cute Pokemons with similar markings as Solgaleo and Lunala were also identified in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." It is still unsure whether they will also be a part of the Legendary Pokemons or they are pre-evolution forms of Solgaleo and Lunala. As for Marshadow, it was initially reported as a Legendary Pokemon but is now identified as a Mythical Pokemon because of its placement in the Pokedex.

The datamine leaked demo is not the final version of "Pokemon Sun and Moon". The defenses of the Pokemon have been dropped, making it easier for the demo players to battle.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" comes out November 18th in the United States and Japan, and November 23rd in Europe. Keep checking in to GamenGuide for more updates on "Pokemon Sun and Moon" and your other favorite games!
