The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is set to be unveiled at the Xiaomi event on Oct. 25. The upcoming flagship handset is set to replace the Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus. The handset is said to roll out in two variants with a quick charging battery, curved display and a glass and metal body.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is also slated to be a 3D product with a curved display analogous to the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. The 3D product renders also lead to speculations that the device will also feature dual cameras in a glass and metal body. Rumor has it that the company's next flagship device would have a 5.7 inch Quad HD screen with AMOLED display.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is also believed to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 with 6GB of RAM for $445 with a 4GB RAM variant for $415. Additionally, PowerPoint slides have been spotted on Phonearena.com with images of 23MP and 12MP cameras as well as an 8MP front-facing shooter. The handset may also roll out with an iris scanner and may be NFC-enabled. The device may also roll out with 128 GB internal storage and 4,100mAh battery with quick charging.

In other news, recent rumors suggest that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may cost around $590, GSM Arena reported. It is said that there are discrepancies between different sources regarding the Mi Note 2's rumored price. The heftier price tag is said to be apt since the handset would be a dual-curved 5.7-inch phone with a fast processor.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 at $590 is still lower than the originally rumored $845 CNY device.
