‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ Latest News & Update: Activision Plans for New World League Season in December

Next season for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" was planned ahead for mid-December World League after Activision wrapped up the beta event.

Since eSports is becoming common video gaming standard to test titles foothold, Activision plans to make "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" such event. Teams from around United States can compete for $100 thousand pool money. This World League is to be held at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" World League has the upper hand of easier streaming due to built-in Live Event Viewer on PlayStation 4, Express said. Further, outfits like MLG.TV, YouTube and Twitch will also sponsor live streams. According to Call of Duty general manager Rob Kostich, they are confident to replicate the success in CWL beta.

To recall, beta "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" World Championship saw team EnVyUs emerging victorious over Euro-based team Splyce. Millions around the globe experienced how thrilling this title feels and call for another season immediately. Activision assured that December event wouldn't be a copy of beta but a whole new experience instead.

Meanwhile, Game Spot reported that "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be different from predecessors. Solo gameplay mode will focus into space combat where protagonist and Special Operations Pilot Captain Reyes campaigns in zero gravity. Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg calls the experience as literally being take into new heights. Then he added that this concept features adventure of epic proportion.

During beta test of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," gamers will still relive the familiar gameplay of Call of Duty and Modern Warfare franchise. The only difference is setting and visuals being futuristic. Gamers will also enjoy a cool phenomenon where characters can walk normally even in zero gravity, as if walking on earth. But when a character or AI was killed, their lifeless body floats in space.

Now to add up to the expectations, Activision confirmed multiplayer mode for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." This is available via Zombie mode which in turn features separate storyline and unique gameplay. However, gamer still have to wait it out a bit because details are still scarce about this mode.
