"The Originals" season 4 is just a few months away from getting aired if speculation of a January or February air date is true. With that being said, fans are eager to know more about the "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff series.
Latest speculations say that deaths of major characters will happen to give way for "TVD" characters to cross over. More so, there are hints of a Klaus and Hope reunion.
'TVD' Crossover To 'The Originals' Season 4
As fans may have recalled, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) was put into a precarious position when Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) vanished him into some kind of a limbo. As such, speculations suggest that a major death -- particularly one of Klaus - will give way for characters from "TVD" to crossover.
It was earlier confirmed by executive producer Julie Plec that fans should expect more interactions between the two series when "TVD" airs its final season. In contrast to some speculations that "The Originals" season 4 won't accept any crossovers from its parent series, a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight debunked this theory.

The constant appearance of some "TVD" characters may change some of the major plots, which may include major deaths in "The Originals" season 4. However, the most anticipated integration perhaps is the reunion of Klaus and Caroline next season.
'The Originals' Season 4: Klaus & Hope Reunion?
Aside from the possible reunion of Klaus and Caroline in "The Originals" season 4, fans are also looking forward to Hope to see Klaus. Fans will a see an older Hope given the five-year time gap.
This will definitely make things a bit awkward for Klaus and Hope in "The Originals" season 4. However, Klaus may be the only one who could explain to Hope her tremendous power. It remains to be seen the extent of Hope's power.
