‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Has Jorah Mormont Found Cure for Greyscale?

In the history of "Game of Thrones," fans have been used to the fact that Daenerys always gets what she wants. Whether it be an army of slaves to liberate, dragons, the coveted Iron throne, or control over Meereen, the peroxide Queen always has a way. More likely, this will be the case for Jorah on the upcoming "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

An image uploaded on Twitter is driving "Game of Thrones" Season 7 fans wild with speculation, as Jorah Mormont (Ian Glen) is seen with no absolute sign of the dreaded greyscale. The greyscale is a type of illness that transforms the skin into stone, which will in the long run, drives the sufferer mad.

To recall, the love-struck Jorah was attacked by stone men in Season 5, thus inflicted with the dreaded disease. In Season 6, Jorah was last seen taking a medical gap year to alleviate the symptoms of greyscale. This prompts the question: has Jorah Mormont found a cure? It seems as though there's a lot more twists to "Game of Thrones" Season 7 than fans could ever imagine.

Meanwhile, a speculation hovering above "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is that the greyscale effect will be added post-production. The idea is possible, albeit debatable. What would be more plausible as of the moment is that said character will make an appearance this season, since the actor Ian Glen has been spotted on a plane to Belfast, where "GoT" is mostly filming these days. Glen was seen along with Gwendoline Christie, a fellow "Game of Thrones" star.

Should Mormont be cured of greyscale, a fan suggested that this could be credited to Quaithe of the Shadow, who appeared on Season 2. According to the post, Quaithe's ability to conjure shadow magic "might" be Jorah's ultimate cure in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

With most fans all aboard the speculation train, "Game of Thrones" Season 7's behemoth success is quite inevitable. As for Jorah and his cure, we'll have to wait for Summer 2017 to find out.
