‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Updates: New Real Time Tracker Suggested In Place Of Indisposed FastPokeMap

“Pokemon Go” players cheered when FastPokeMap was making a comeback. However, the third-party app may be well on its way out seeing the site has been suffering outages.

With an erratic outlook, the best that “Pokemon Go” players can do right now is look for other apps in lieu of FastPokeMap. App developers believe that a good aid would be an app similar to Pokemon Go Radar which was previously used for Android-based players.

But are we forgetting about the terms of service of Niantic? To recall, the people behind FastPokeMap claim that their software does not legally step on rules set forth by the “Pokemon Go” developer. The same could be done for the Pokemon Go Radar-like app, something that will not break the API according to some folks over at Reddit.

Under this scenario, the app would collect data from “Pokemon Go” players but will only be constrained to Android-based users. There is apparently a loophole in the suggestion, a scenario wherein neither the server or the app can distinguish when information is being read while players are mobile.

That said, this means the Niantic has no sufficient ground to ban players who may use the suggested app. It also addresses the issue tied up to bots that access player accounts, looming largely as a win-win solution for players seeking to advance properly on “Pokemon Go”.

To make it happen, the developer needs the ample support from players to make the Pokemon Go Radar clone to work. And while they claim everything would be legal, it remains to be seen if Niantic will look at it in the same way.

Tracking spawns are one of the waterloo on “Pokemon Go” and FastPokeMap would have been a big help as mentioned in a previous post. With the web-based app now useless, this is one of many potential workarounds that can help track down those elusive pocket monsters.
