Reasons Why Not to Buy the 2016 MacBook Pro; HP Spectre x360 Definitely The Newest 'It' Laptop

Months Before its release, Apple's new MacBook Pro already generated numerous articles online. News about the notebook having an OLED Touch bar, multiple USB-C Ports, Ultra Slim design and huge trackpad made its waves on social media and other news websites.

However, Apple released the 2016 MacBook Pro last week to the dismay of most users. Aside from it not sporting the much anticipated features, the laptop seems to be just an ordinary version of the MacBook Air.

Here are the reasons why the newest MacBook doesn't make it to the cut... and even more reasons why you'll love the HP Spectre X360.

MacBook Pro 2016

Sporting a thinner laptop may not be a good way to keep up the game. Although, the 2016 MacBook Pro is half a pound lighter than last year's model, it still has limited number of ports and port selection, extremely restricted repairability and upgradeability, low CPU speed and is missing the most awaited features like the OLED Touch Bar, Touch ID and extra pair of Thunderbolt 3 ports. One most notable downgrade of the current MacBook is its 876 Mbps WI-Fi compared to last year's 1.3 Gbps. What makes the device even more uninteresting is the price which starts at $1,499.00.

The latest MacBook may still keep its rock solid design, impressive speakers, longer battery life and a much improved GPU performance but it definitely isn't enough to stay on top of the ranks considering other notebooks with much impressive features at a lower price. Let's just hope Apple releases the high-end MacBooks to compensate with their current loss.

HP Spectre X360

HP Spectre is definitely the best laptop we have in the market so far. Its ultra-svelte design and foldable hinges make it a thousand times better than other counter parts. Its a 2-in-1 device that can be used as a tablet of a notebook. The newest laptop is equipped with Intel's latest "7th Gen" core processor.

As per Tech Crunch, HP's latest upgrade isn't only limited to the new core processor. The laptop also boasts of an edge-to-edge display and Windows Hello enabled camera. The company also beefed up HP Spectre X360 with impressive charging features that charges up to 90 percent for only 90 minutes. Compared to MacBook Pro's 9 hour battery life, HP Spectre can run up to 10 hours and 6 minutes.

With its fast performance, stellar battery features and comfy keyboard in a svelte and flexible package, HP Spectre X360 only starts at $1,050.00. That's almost a $500 difference from MacBook Pro 2016.
