'Shut In' Release Date, News & Updates: How Can Naomi Hunt What Haunts Her Down?

"Shut In" is a movie produced by EuropaCorp about a mother and a child who are haunted by a ghost and it is about to be released this month. Naomi Watts plays Mary, a psychologist who had a bedridden son, played by Charlie Heaton.

In "Shut In", Mary is a widow and lives with Charlie in rural New England. Her husband died in an accident while his son was left paralyzed. Charlie is depressed after the accident and being tied to a bed. For him, he is not alive except his body. Meanwhile, Mary adopts a young boy and brings her in their home to live with them.

When a deadly winter storm came, the boy ran outside their house and he had been missing after that. He probably died because of the cold temperature. Because he was not found, he was presumed dead.

After that incident Mary continues to feel a presence inside her home. She could feel as if there is someone with them inside their home, and this "presence" wants to harm them. Mary has to stay calm and find a way to fight the unseen threat to save her and her son. 

"Shut In" is directed by Farren Blackburn and the story is written by Christina Hodson. The lead characters are Naomi Watts, Jacob Tremblay, Charley Heaton, Oliver Platt and David Cubitt.

"Shut In" stars the two main characters Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay, who have both appeared in "Book of Henry". The thriller is so heart-pounding as described in Coming Soon.

There are some violence, bloody images, nudity, thematic elements and terror in the movie. It offers mystery and suspense according to Dreadcentral. "Shut In" will be released in the US theaters on Nov. 11, 2016.
