Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online Updated With New Content, Improvements [FOOTAGE]

Ubisoft's free-to-play PC shooter Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online has received a brand new patch from its Singapore developers that has a host of fresh additions, features and game service improvements.

The patch, build 0.11.0, the company says, is a result of their continuous monitoring of the community's feedback.

The update adds a new map — Attica Heights — as well as a Firing Range and Field Testing where players can check out and test their weapons. Moreover, Ubisoft revealed a new pack (known as the OMEGA Pack), bundles and also a map for beta testing.

Apart from this, the developers have included a number of bug fixes to the update. There is now a fix by which players are able to immediately move around for a few seconds after being knocked off from a certain height by enemy's Blitz, a fix where users could not activate Blitz when in cover at a specific point in Sub-Pen.

The company, with the update, has also disabled critical hits on forearms and calves and has set upper arms and thighs damage multiplier to 0.8 for all weapons except shotguns.

"Shotguns," the official page states, "were not included in this change because shotgun spreads are fixed. Shotgun-wielding players can only aim for a center-mass shot by getting closer to their target, which further reduces the effective range of shotguns."
