'Pokemon Go' Latest News & Update: What To Expect From Niantic Over Thanksgiving?

In the previous "Pokemon Go" Halloween event, Niantic sure earned big investments during the holiday and indeed was a major success. But, with Thanksgiving and the holidays fast approaching, Niantic could replicate the success of the previous holiday-themed "Pokemon Go."

An Expected Thanksgiving Theme For 'Pokemon Go'?

According to Slash Gear, Niantic could again apply the previous Halloween theme for "Pokemon Go"  for Thanksgiving as a way to celebrate the holiday. Niantic has always been stuck to holidays such as Halloween, Christmas and April Fool's Day and it's possible that a "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving event might work.

The publication further reports that the Thanksgiving event for "Pokemon Go" would be just the same as the previous Halloween themed event. With the previous themed event as basis, selected pokemons will sure be spawning out regularly in the "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving event and a shortened walking distance for the Buddy system could also be applied.

Like the Halloween theme event, the Thanksgiving event could also have pokemons that will spawn regularly in "Pokemon Go." The news outlet predicts that Spearow, Fearow, Pysduck, Golduck, Slowpoke, Slowbro, Ponyta and Rapidash would spawn on the "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving event.

The day the Thanksgiving event for "Pokemon Go" would likely fall on a Thursday, November 24 and would progress until a Sunday, November 27. With that in mind, many "Pokemon Go" players can have a chance to play the game while travelling home for the holidays.

However, Niantic and Ingress have never worked on any Thanksgiving event before and different Thanksgiving events are celebrated around in the given dates. But, it is highly possible that Niantic and Ingress would consider a "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving event because of the financial boost.

Hopefully, "Pokemon Go" players can see a Thanksgiving event in the upcoming holiday. For more "Pokemon Go" news and update stay tuned to Gamenguide!
