‘The Sims 4: City Living’ Gameplay, News & Update: Diet Bug Triggers Sims To Eat At Food Stalls Nonstop; How Players Are Responding

"The Sims 4" City Living, the latest expansion, recently featured Festivals, which include food stalls where sims can eat. However, "The Sims 4" players are concerned at how some sims never stop eating from these.

Sims who are not hungry generally do not eat in "The Sims 4." However, several players reported that sims who are not hungry constantly order from the food stalls in "The Sims 4" City Living.

Some sims even order and eat food immediately after downing a meal. Despite their Hunger meter being full, some sims will go straight from their recent meal to a food stall in "The Sims 4" City Living.

Kotaku wrote that one sim would automatically order more food while idle at a festival. The sim noticeably eats more while at the Spice Festival in "The Sims 4" City Living, which features food from foreign countries.

In "The Sims 4," sims can gain and lose weight depending on how much they eat and exercise. However, a number of sims in the new "The Sims 4" expansion maintain the same bodyweight despite eating uncontrollably.

As a result, some players have been counting their calories. "The Sims 4" players are particularly worried about "townie" sims. They can stop unplayed sims from gaining weight, but they need to download MC Command Center, a mod that provides players added control over townie sims and other aspects of the game.

Using the mod, "The Sims 4" players can set the maximum size for all sims, which means that they can eat nonstop without having to worry about their weight. Other "The Sims 4" players are less concerned about their sims being overweight.

Some stated that they prefer their sims to appear in various shapes and sizes. The new changes in "The Sims 4" City Living expansion may provide an interesting storyline or make the sims more appealing. Some players even let their sims gain weight on purpose for added fun.

Twinfinite stated that "The Sims 4" City Living has been getting good reviews since it launched on Nov. 3, 2016. Some of the advantages include the new location, San Myshuno, and its several urban attractions.

"The Sims 4" players also like the new fun careers, the neighbors that provide more depth to the storyline, and the unique apartments. Some of the drawbacks include glitches, which Maxis is expected to address in the coming weeks.
