'Silence' To Be Released Next Week; Sequel to "The Whispered World" Follows Haunting Story, Watch The New Trailer

Another game to look forward to, "Silence", will be available next week and its trailer and demo have been released. Here's what to expect about the upcoming adventure game from Daedalic Entertainment.

Daedalic Entertainment announced that "Silence" demo is available for PC gamers who play via Steam, according to One Angry Gamer. The 3D point-and-click adventure game has been released on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Gamers can get it by downloading.

Aside from the demo release, its official trailer for "Silence" has been launched this weekend. The trailer brings viewers to the general plot of the game. Expect to see the main characters, Noah and his little sister in the video.

The video shows Noah and his little sister are attempting to get home after getting trapped between the crossroads of their world and the secret world of "Silence."

"Silence" starts with the story of Noah, a 16-year-old boy and his little sister named Renie. Renie gets lost and Noah is now forced to venture the threatening world to find her.

The trailer for "Silence" also teases dark creatures, enemies and allies. The Dark creatures haunt towns and cities and ravage this once serene place between worlds, according to PC Gamer.

There is a group of rebels who fight against these Dark Creatures. So it is up to the siblings if they want  to save Silence. As you can see in the video, the little girl wants to go home. Will Noah choose to go home or stay to save Silence?

"Silence" is the sequel to the 2009 adventure game, "The Whispered World." In the original game, it followed the adventure of sad jester Sadwick through the fantasy world of Silence.

For those who are familiar with "The Whispered World," they may find a few minor changes between the original and the sequel, according to Cultured Vultures. "Silence" requires clicking and dragging to pull or push objects aside from clicking on an item to action.
