'Avengers: Infinity War' Release Date, Cast, News and Update: A Major Superhero's Comeback Is Confirmed, Who is It?

Jeremy Renner has confirmed he will be back as "Hawkeye" in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie "Avengers: Infinity War." It may not come as a surprise to many but with still two years until the movie release, fans have been holding on to any clues or any news about the upcoming movie.

Jeremy Renner spoke that he is looking forward to all the fun in working with a huge number of people. He also said that it will be awesome for all the characters involved.

So other than Renner's "Hawkeye," who else are we expecting to be in the movie? In an interview with ComicBookMovie, directors Anthony and Joe Russo have previously revealed "Avengers: Infinity War" will have 67 characters on board. The film makers assured the fans that they will not be disappointed by the cast.

Josh Brolin, who plays the supervilllain of the movie Thanos will be present. Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man and Chris Evan's Captain America will take the main seats again. Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Chris Pratt's Star Lord and Elizabeth Olsen's Wanda or Scarlet Witch will also take part in the movie "Avengers: Infinity War."

Benedict Cumberbatch recently revealed that Doctor Strange will be joining the party in "Avengers: Infinity War." He hinted that Doctor Strange will not be taking sides. He also said that Doctor Strange will be his own team which he called Team Doctor Strange, since he carries the title of being the defender of the fabric of reality.

Making her debut on the film, "Avengers: Infinity War" will have Brie Larson as Captain Marvel. The director of "The Guardians Of The Galaxy" James Gunn hinted that the rest of "The Guardians Of The Galaxy" heroes will probably make the cut, especially Bradley Cooper's Rocket Raccoon. The hints were backed up in a video posted by Vin Diesel who voices Groot.

Sebastian Stan's Winter soldier will make the cut in "Avengers: Infinity War" as well. Tom Holland's Spider-man who was just recruited into the Avengers team might participate but it's not a done deal yet.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed that some of the other illuminati will be in the roster for "Avengers: Infinity War." The illuminati is a group of powerful and meddlesome heroes from the comics. Benedict Wong who plays Wong in "Doctor Strange" will be back too.

"Avengers: Infinity War" Part 1 will launch in spring 2018 and will follow the familiar pattern of releasing first in the UK, on April 27, 2018.After the UK release, Marvel will released the movie in the US on May 4, 2018. The "Avengers: Infinity War" Part 2 will be released in 2019.
