'Persona 5' Release Date, News & Update: Atlus Moves Title Again, Company Explains; Another Feature Confirmed?

"Persona 5" may have finally fixed a date for their release-and it will not be as soon as what was once thought. The reason behind it is one that many may understand, though the delay could risk losing the interest of some.

As some may know, Atlus' "Persona 5," the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 title is something that many have cordially awaited for, especially under the Japanese role-playing game genre or JRPG. Despite the many positive feedback surrounding it, there may be a few let-downs along the way, starting with the launch date.

According to a new report, "Persona 5" was moved to an April 4, 2017 release, compared to the supposed February plan previously. Some may also find it unfortunate, but Japan already has their share of the game, wherein North America and Europe are yet to receive the title accordingly. As for the reason why, Atlus has a lot to say to those waiting for the fifth title to surface.

Though it may be painful to hear, the "Persona 5" launch delay in the aforesaid western territories is considered necessary for the vocal acting perfection. The way that "Persona 5" became a staple of success during its Japan release demands a near identical reception in North America and Europe, which Atlus aims to do. A dual audio feat is confirmed for the game, enabling gamers to play in both Japanese and English.

It may be too much for the gamers to take that "Persona 5" has been delayed for so long and on many instances. The title was slated for a 2015 release but was pushed further forward up to the latest delay mentioned. However, Atlus assured gamers that during the Sony PlayStation Experience event this December 3 and 4, fans will be able to get their hands initially on the title. More than that, the title will have the feat that permits players to receive help online as done back in "Persona 4."
