WWE 2016 Latest News & Updates: Randy Orton Leaving After Survivor Series; Storylines Altered Again?

WWE Survivor Series kicks off this Sunday at the Air Canada Centre with all eyes on Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt. The uncanny alliance is not bought by many and something could give.

However, recent reports claim that Randy Orton will be taking some time off to attend to family matters. The Ortons are expecting their new baby girl and “The Viper” obviously needs to aid his wife Kim, Wrestlingnews.co reported.

That said, it will be interesting if twists will be made to the uncanny alliance. Orton can either fake an injury or yet leave Bray Wyatt with an RKO at some point before temporarily departing. Either way, the storyline involving the two could be up for changes (or not).

Orton’s alliance with Bray Wyatt has not been entirely bought by most, believing this is a mental ploy by Orton to score one over the Wyatt Family. He will at one point turn or at least do something following their initial feud that took a different turn.

Orton technically pledge allegiance to Wyatt when he turned on Kane, ESPN reported. That led to the unlikely alliance though a storyline involving the Undertaker was suggested.

The Undertaker did return at the 200th episode of SmackDown but most did not see the “Dead Man” reunite with Kane. That somehow hinted of a possible “Brothers of Destruction” feud with the Wyatts – something which could still happen but only after Orton is done with his family matters.

While that is getting ahead, there is business to take care off this Sunday. Team Blue is up against a powerhouse team Raw which will have Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and former Wyatt family member Braun Strowman.

Orton was seen standing up to Strowman at the Raw invasion so it will be interesting if the two will collide at the Air Canada Centre this weekend. Be sure to catch WWE Survivor Series this Sunday via the WWE Network and see what new storylines crop up.
