‘Final Fantasy XV’ Release Date, News & Update: Combat System Changes, Square Enix Has Special Announcement?

Square Enix has been developing "Final Fantasy XV" since it was first announced last 2006 at Electronic Entertainment Expo. Finally, the highly anticipated "Final Fantasy XV" is set to be released on November 29 worldwide, with a multitude of combat system changes.

"Final Fantasy XV" was set to be released last September but due to some issues, Square Enix has decided to move the launch date to November 29. With a few days to go, it seems that Square Enix has done a lot of work to provide the best quality game ever including the combat system.

According to GameSpot, there have been big changes in "Final Fantasy XV" combat system since Square Enix made "Episode Duscae" available in 2015. The evolution in combat system includes combos, weapons, magic, mania points, and much more.

"Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" is a first public playable build released in 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with an experiment combat system. This playable demo is part of "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" as a downloadable voucher released worldwide.

As seen with the "Final Fantasy XV" demo, the combat system for combos can be mixed the way the players experimented the attacks and combos with their character's weapon. With the Final Preview Build, it is similar to the Platinum Demo whereas weapons have their own particular attacks and animations.

In addition, "Final Fantasy XV" Final Preview Build implemented changes in using weapons. The new combat system includes more variety of weapons aside from swords and spears. It also added enemy resistances which make them vulnerable and invulnerable to attacks depending on the weapons used against them.

Magic has been also modified to "Final Fantasy XV" Final Preview Build from the existing ability in the Platinum Demo combat system. It now has spell crafting system that allows players to combine magic in the crafting process which gives special effects.

Meanwhile, aside from the new combat system in "Final Fantasy XV" Final Preview Build, Square Enix announced on its Twitter account some important news. It says in its post that there have been added enhancements and upgrades alongside the "Final Fantasy XV" release and to expect it on Monday.
