‘Fallout 4’ Latest News & Updates: Do You Have What It Takes To Create Your Own PS4 Mod?

With Sony and Bethesda finally on the same pace, mod use on the PS4 is now a reality. It may come a bit late considering the PC and Xbox One have long applied it but the entry is a good start for “Fallout 4” players.

The thing is that “Fallout 4” players will have to make do with the available mods or create their own with the given resources defined by Sony and Bethesda. The creation kit for “Fallout 4” was released earlier this month and included in patch 1.8, Gotta Be Mobile reported.

For one thing, the creation kit for “Fallout 4” will not include pre-installed mods meaning most will have to start from scratch. Turning to third-party mods is a waste of time meaning any modifications that players want for better gameplay can only be done via this route.

As mentioned earlier, there are plenty of existing mods available over at the Bethesda website. Among the popular mods “Fallout 4” players can find over there include “Portable Nuka”, “Nuka Jetpack”, “Developer Room” and “Firelance”, Neurogadget reported.

Seeing how the options for mods are limited at this point, it may be wise to choose wisely on what mods one should use. Patch 1.12 for “Fallout 4” was released to help out in modding, something pegged to improve the overall game performance of the game.

As mentioned in a previous post, expected from “Fallout 4” patch 1.12 are the proper render of mod categories and favorites. Aside from that, there are new tweaks addressing bugs to sound effects when reloading zones, game crashes and audio cuts tied up to Gatling lasers.

More patches are likely to follow, depending on the game performance of “Fallout 4” with the recent updates. Mods are also expected to increase, hopefully, something that can make the game more tempting for players wanting something different.
