'Pokemon Go' Latest, News & Update: Complete List On Pokemon's Combat Powers That Got Downgraded; Can It Help Lower-Leveled Trainers?

Aside from confirming the "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving event, Nianatic has also announced that they will be decreasing the combat powers of some Pokemon to rebalance the combat system. This is for Pokemon trainers to experience fair and more competitive battles in Pokemon Gyms.

"Others will have their CP lowered. These changes will allow a more balanced and competitive battling and training experience in Gyms." Niantic announced on their official website. "We will continue to adjust the CP going forward to improve the game balance when necessary." The "Pokemon Go" team continued.

Niantic has dropped the combat powers of some of the strongest Pokemon at the same time increasing combat points of some Pokemon according to Polygon. Some of the dataminers from The Shilp Road got on hold on the complete list of the Pokemon that got "Nerfed" and got "Buffed"

Some of the mentioned Pokemon that got a downscale on their combat powers are Arbok, Arcanine, Blastoise, Cleafable, Exeggutor, Golbat, Golduck, Hypno, Nidoking, Nidoqueen and Ninetales. Other Pokemons like Persian, Pideot, Poliwrath, Seaking, Slowbro, Venusaur, Vileplume and Wigglypuff also got affected in getting their combat powers "nerfed" in "Pokemon Go".

However, if there are Pokemons whose combat powers have been dropped, there also Pokemons whose combat powers were amplified. Fan-favorite Pokemon like Alkazam, Aerodactyl, Chansey, Charizard, Dugtrio, Electabuzz, Flareon, Hitminchan, Hitminlee, Gengar, Golem, Gyarados, Jolteon, Machamp, Muk and Onix all got an increase in their combat power in "Pokemon Go".

Pinsir, Primeape, Raichu, Rapidash, Raticate, Rhydon, Sandslash, Seadre, Scyther, Snorlax, Starmie and Tentracruel were also among the Pokemons that were getting "buffed" in "Pokemon Go". In the previous updates by Niantic, they have downgraded the combat powers of Gym Pokemons in order for trainers with lower levels to compete fairly during battes in Pokemon Gyms.

The Thanksgiving Event of "Pokemon Go" is also an opportunity for players who have lower levels to increase their XPs and levels. Niantic has increased the spawns, doubling XP and Stardust for the said event.

The "Pokemon Go" Thanksgiving event will begin on November 23 up until November 30. We'll be giving you some news and updates on this excting "Pokemon Go" event here in GameNGuide.
