‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: Alakazam, Gengar, Rhydon Increased CP, Other Pokemon CP Lowered! Gen 2, Legendary, Trading, Tracker Bring Imbalance?

Niantic recently updated "Pokemon GO" in preparation for the Thanksgiving Event that will give double EXP rewards and Stardusts to players. But, some of the players noticed that there are changes in their Pokemon Combat Power after the update.

According to a report from Pokemon GO Hub, Niantic announced that the Pokemon Alakazam, Gengar and Rhydon have the biggest update.  Reports say that a number of base stats in "Pokemon GO" also changed. Players also noticed that almost 400 Pokemon Stats were changed. All Pokemon Base Stats were confirmed modified.

The changes in stats and combat powers in "Pokemon GO" will allow more balanced and competitive gameplay as stated by GameSpot. Alakazam, Rhydon and Gengar had their combat powers increased and some other Pokemons had CP lowered; however, Niantic didn't specify the Pokemon names that have decreased in CP.

Recent reports claim that the recent the "Pokemon GO" patch and Thanksgiving Event is just a minor bonus made by Niantic compared to the upcoming Christmas Event. Some players say that the Christmas event will bring several exciting features to the game.

The Christmas Event and update for "Pokemon GO" is rumoured to bring several features that is most requested by fans. One of the most requested is the PvP Battle system where players can interact more with other players and have a duel using each other's selected Pokemon.

The Trading feature is also very much speculated where players can easily trade items or other Pokemon to other player. Of course players would be glad if Niantic will release an updated and accurate Pokemon tracker where players can easily know the exact location of a Pokemon in a certain area in "Pokemon GO."

Some of the players are also excited for the upcoming Generation 2 Pokemon in "Pokemon GO." Some rumors say that the Gen 2 will be released together with the legendary Pokemon.
