'Once Upon A Time' Season 6 Spoilers & Latest Updates: Belle's Sacrifice Affects the Lives of Everybody Living in Storybrooke; Gold tells the Evil Queen to Kill Zelena

The battle between the Evil Queen and certain characters from Storybrooke was out on hold last Sunday night when “Once Upon a Time” Season 6 was pre-empted by the 2016 American Music Awards on ABC. To somewhat ease the waiting for the fans who have to wait an extra week to find out what’s next on the show, the network has released the synopsis for the episode titled “Changelings” which will air on Sunday, November 27.

According to the synopsis by The Futon Critic, the upcoming “Once Upon a Time” episode will focus on Rumple/Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin). A Fairy Tale Land flashback will show Rumple capturing Jack (Nick Hunnings) and Jill’s (Tammy Gillis) son and plans to him as bait for a powerful creature to come to him.

In present time, Mr. Gold, who is also played by Carlyle, tells the Evil Queen to end Zelena’s (Rebecca Mader) life. Thus, the Evil Queen is forced to make a big decision that would change her relationship with her sister forever. In the same “Once Upon a Time” episode, when Belle discovers Gold’s evil plan for their son, she convinces Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to help her steal squid ink that can temporarily immobilize Gold.

The official “Once Upon a Time” Season 6 episode synopsis reveals that Belle will make a sacrifice that will eventually affect the lives of everyone living in Storybrooke. Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) will find a way to be Jasmine’s (Karen David) hero. She will find a lamp without a genie that could be used in saving Agrabah.

In a TV Line interview, EP Adam Horowitz teased that the upcoming episode 9 of “Once Upon a Time” Season 6 will be a game changer for Belle and Rumple. The viewers do not know where their story will lead to or how dark it could get for them. Horowitz added that while the show may go dark, it never goes bleak and it is still about hope. He also reminds the show’s fans that it is always darkest before the dawn.

Meanwhile, Horowitz tweeted a script tease about the focus on the “Once Upon a Time” Season 6 story arc involving Rumple and Belle on Tuesday. He twitted that he hoped that the script tease will tide the fans over for another week that the show is not airing.
