Ubisoft Games & Goodies Giveaway Runs For 30 Days Until Christmas

Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday is the start of extreme shopping for consumers as retailers offer deep discounts to mark the start of Christmas buying season. However, for a French software company, Nov. 24 marks its 30th anniversary, so the firm is giving away games and other goodies for the next 30 days.

Founded in 1986, Ubisoft – formerly known as Ubi Soft Entertainment Software – is a multinational publisher of video games with headquarters in Rennes, France. Its known game franchises include “Far Cry,” “Just Dance,” “Assassin’s Creed,” and “Prince of Persia.”

How to Claim the Freebies

The only thing that people would need to do to claim their free gifts is to log into 30days.ubi.com using their Ubisoft account. The free items were made available beginning Nov. 24, with the Rayman Classic on Mobile given away, GameSpot reports.

The free items from Nov. 24 through Dec. 23 are supposed to be hidden. However, some Redditors checked the page source and got a complete list of all gifts for all 30 days, listed below.

For the next seven days, the freebies are 30 percent off Ubisoft Games, Exclusive Collection of E3 2016 Cards, Ubi30 Exclusive GIF, For Honor GIFs, Ubi30 360 Image, Just Dance Greeting Card and Ubisoft DIY Advent Calendar. For the next seven days, which are from Dec. 2 through Dec. 8, the free giveaways are Steep Wallpaper, Exclusive Digital Posters from E3 2016, Rabbid Holiday Goodies, WWW Wallpaper, Ubisoft Cocktail Recipes, Assassin’s Creed 3 on PC and Ubisoft Wrapping Paper.

For week 3, which is for Dec. 9 through Dec. 15, Ubisoft will give away 30 Game Giveaway, Watch_Dogs 2 Wallpaper, Ubisoft Gift Tags, Ubisoft Dessert Recipes, Ghost Recon GIFs, Wallpaper for Mobile and Prince of Persia on PC. The last batch of gifts, to cover Dec. 16 through Dec. 23, are Rayman Legends on PC, Splinter Cell on PC, The Crew on PC, Rayman GIF, Steep GIF, Exclusive 2017 Digital Holiday Cards, Ubi30 Wallpaper and Ubisoft Holiday Decorations, according to BGR.

Initial Weak Sales of “Watch Dog 2”

Outside the free gifts, Ubisoft shared that week 1 sales of its newly released game “Watch Dogs 2” dipped 80 percent compared to the original “Watch Dog.” Since GameSpot gave the new game an 8 rating, Ubisoft is confident millions of players would eventually love the game.
