There's a little less than two months before the highly anticipated "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" arrives on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. But the latest news surrounding the Capcom game is that cross-save will be available for Xbox One and PC gamers. Those who have the Microsoft console will be able to start off the game and end it on PC if they desire.

The news and update come from Gamespot, which reports that the cross-save feature is often reserved for titles in Xbox One's "Play Anywhere" program. The "Play Anywhere" program lets gamers purchase an Xbox One game and get a free PC copy to go wit it. The announcement for the game was made during Sony's E3, and the "Beginning Hour" demo and "Kitchen" VR experience was made exclusively for PlayStation 4. There's also the possibility that the highly anticipated game's VR mode will remain exclusive to PlayStation 4 for at least a year.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is arriving in PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this January 24, 2017. It is directed by Koshi Nakanishi and is developed and published by Capcom.
