'Crackdown 3' Release Date, News & Update: Game Release For Xbox In 2017

Microsoft developed the game series titled "Crackdown" and will release the third installment for Xbox console in 2017. Although the first installments received positive feedback, some early Xbox players were disappointed. Despite the initial criticism, the announcement of "Crackdown 3" created some hype in the Xbox community.

Microsoft announced "Crackdown 3" during E3 2014 with gamers looking forward for a release date. Unfortunately, the launch didn't follow suite, with the game remaining in the shadows until a year later when the Xbox title was once again brought up during E3.

E3 2015 hasn't been kind to the game, with the developers' only sample is some early footage with promises of a future release. By now, gamers have been exhausted waiting for the release. It has been two years since "Crackdown 3" was introduced to the public. The continuous delay caused frustration among the gamers in the Xbox community, but there are still reasons to hope for the game's release.

On Twitter, someone asked Microsoft's Phil Spencer if he could tell the public, whether or not the "Crackdown 3" is still alive or if it has been completely scrapped. The Xbox official responded with a tweet confirming that a new Crackdown game is still under development and that he had just seen a build for the game.

It is very interesting to see how similar "Crackdown 3" will be in the first two installments of the game, but fans must wait a little longer as there are no clues leading up to a possible release. With 2017 in our sights, it is more likely that Microsoft would aim for a 2017 release of the long awaited sequel.

"Crackdown 3" game development takes time and gamers only thing they can do is to wait until it was released next year. The game is coming out for Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017.
