‘Captain America: Civil War’ News & Update: A New Captain America?

"Captain America: Civil War" placed its big name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to its core so heavily that even its pillars could crumble in the movies ahead. The Movie "Captain America: Civil war" gain positive feedback from the viewers all over the world.

A character poised to be at the center of a seismic shift in the Marvel movies is Sebastian Stan's cyborg badass Bucky Barnes also known as "The Winter America," Captain America's old war buddy that turned into HYDRA sleeper agent who again became Captain America's buddy.

At the end of Civil War, "Captain America" literally gives up his superhero name after his brutal fallout with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) over protecting Bucky against the US government.

Issues fled all over regarding that Bucky Barnes (played by Sebastian Stan) might possibly take over the throne of being the "Captain America." A picture Sebastian Stan's Instagram account initiated the possibility.

In the said picture Sebastian Stan is walking out carrying "Captain America's" weapon, marked with a winter soldier star in the middle. He quoted the picture by saying "Will come in Handy." Sebastian Stan thanked its creators.

If the Marvel Cinematic Universe will take the route of having Bucky become the new "Captain America," it would only be taking a page from the comic books it's based on. In the Marvel Comics Story, Bucky Barnes is one of the many prospects for the mantle of "Captain America" during brief periods where the original Steve Rogers was either missing in action, dead or renounced the name.

As for how this will ultimately turn out, it remains to be seen. However, we all know that Sebastian Stan will return for "Avengers: Infinity War, "and he's hinted at an appearance in the Wakanda-set Black Panther too.

That heavily-anticipated movie, "The Avengers: Infinity War" sequel is out on May 4, 2018.
